About
Evan B. Wood is a NYC-based filmmaker and photographer who attended NYU Tisch School of the Arts, earning his BFA in Film/TV Production in 2016.
The son of two teaching artists, he developed his love for storytelling and educating through art from an early age. Combined with a passion for journalism and social justice, Evan aims to use his filmmaking skills to inspire people and better the world, whether it be through the pages of a script or a powerful testimonial interview.
He has been commissioned to film videos and take photographs in his native New York City and as far as rural South India. Having attended a remote sustainable living school in The Bahamas as a teenager, he is always up for adventure.
When Evan is not making films, he is an avid marathon runner and ambassador for patients with Crohn's disease at Mt. Sinai Hospital.
